I’ve wanted to go to Taiwan since I was in high school and discovered the magical world of Meteor Garden (Team Lei!). Finally after all these years of Taiwanese idol dramas (I’m a Rainie Yang fangirl), I made it to Taipei. While my search for Vanness Wu, Mike He, and Will Pan was a bust, I did get to see the Taipei 101, the tallest building in the world. I guess that counts for something, right? I wish I had been able to go outside the city, but I guess that’s for another time. The one thing I did wrong was not ask my Taiwanese friends where to go. Well, there’s always next time. This just gives me a good excuse to come back some day. At least I can say that I’ve already seen Vanness Wu (in San Gabriel), so I’ll focus my search for other Taiwanese idols.
